BIO

Olga Joy L. Gerasta was born in Cavity City, Philippines. She received the B.S. degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Cebu Institute of Technology, Cebu City, Philippines, in 2003, and a double master’s degree in M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering–Microelectronics from National Taipei University, Taipei, Taiwan, in 2009 and Master of Engineering in Mindanao State University- Iligan Institute of Technology, in 2011. She earned her Doctoral degree at the Mindanao State University- Iligan Institute of Technology, in 2017 and a Sandwich Program in Tatung University, Taiwan. She is actively involved in two externally funded research as a principal project leader in DOST-PCIEERD projects entitled” (1) Electromagnetic Radar for Water Detection and (2) Project 1- Wireless Energy Harvesting System.

She has been a faculty member of the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology since 2007. Her current research interests include Mixed Signal ADC/DAC, wireless sensor, remote sensing, antenna design, RFID, and wireless communications and system designs.
