COURSES & PROGRAMS

Introduction to Analog IC Design (Sem 1, AY 2023-2024)

Part of the Joint Classes for Microelectronics Program, this course will introduce introductory concepts in analog circuit design specifically relevant to CMOS IC design. It will cover MOSFET physics, small-signal models, common amplifier architecture, frequency response, current references and bandgap references and differential amplifiers. At the end of this course, the student should be able to design and analyze several types of CMOS opamps at the transistor level.

Visiting Lecturer Program for Microelectronics (Sem 2, AY 2023-2024)

The CIDR Visiting Lecturer Program for Microelectronics invites expert faculty members from partner universities to deliver specialized lectures and workshops to students and faculty. It aims to enhance microelectronics and semiconductor education, knowledge exchange, foster academic collaboration, and promote the latest industry practices in microelectronics.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Engineering Research and Development for Technology (ERDT)

ERDT Scholarship is a government-funded scholarship program in the Philippines aimed at enhancing the quality and quantity of engineers in the country. The program is managed by the Department of Science and Technology - Science Education Institute (DOST-SEI). It supports graduate studies in engineering for Master's and Doctoral degrees at selected Philippine universities.

The ERDT Scholarship is designed to foster a strong pool of engineering professionals and researchers who will contribute to the country's technological and industrial development. It aims to boost innovation, research output, and the overall quality of engineering education in the Philippines.
