BIO
Nieva Mapula was born in Iligan City, Philippines. She received her B.S. degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology, Iligan, Philippines, in 2005; and her M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taipei University, Taiwan, in 2010. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering also at National Taipei University, Taiwan.
She has been a faculty member of the Department of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Engineering of MSU-Iligan Institute of Technology since 2007. Her current research interests include power electronics, AC-DC / DC-DC converters, renewable energy, power management, crystal-less oscillators and embedded systems.
