Kevin O. Maglinte earned both his B.S. degree in Electronics Engineering (2015) and M.S. in Electrical Engineering (2018) from Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Iligan City, Philippines.
He is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics Engineering at MSU-IIT, where he also acts as the First Year Level Adviser for the Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering (BSECE) program under the College of Engineering.
Mr. Maglinte has been actively involved in several notable research initiatives. He is a research staff member of the DOST-PCIEERD-funded project “CIDR Research Program: Energy Harvesting for Battery-less IoT Device Applications,” led by Prof. Jefferson Hora. He is also a research team member for the internally funded “Bioacoustic Signal-Based Insect Classification System Using Machine Learning” project under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Cherry Mae Villame, as well as a collaborator in the MAYA-7 Nanosatellite Collaborative Project supported by PHILSA.
His current research interests include energy harvesting technologies, low-power circuit design, and machine learning applications in embedded systems.
