BIO
Chinet Mocorro–Overstreet is a graduate of B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT), Iligan City, Philippines, in 2006, and an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taipei University, Taipei, Taiwan in 2012.
She has been a faculty member of MSU-IIT since 2006 and works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering Technology. Her research interests include renewable energy and power electronics, in particular, photovoltaic systems. She has participated as one of the project leaders of the µC-IC Program Project funded by DOST-PCIEERD (2017-2020) and a faculty research staff under the INLIGHT project funded by USAID-STRIDE (2015-2017).
