MICROLAB FACILITIES

1. Research Funded Lab.

  • houses the full-time researchers (IC designers (analog/mixed-signal/digital ICs, IC layout designers, verification engineers, PCB designers, hardware and firmware engineers).

  • kick off/installed during the 3.5-year implementation of µC-IC program project funded by DOST-PCIEERD (2017-2020).

  • a combined budget from USAID-STRIDE(INLIGHT project), DOST-PCIEERD(µC-IC program project) and MSU-IIT.

2. Graduate Research Lab.

  • Houses the MSEE in Microelectronics students.

  • kick off/installed in 2017.

  • a combined budget from USAID-STRIDE(INLIGHT project), DOST-PCIEERD(µC-IC program project) and MSU-IIT.

3. Undergraduate Research Lab.

  • Houses the BS Electronics Engineering (BSECE) students for their respective research thesis works.

  • inaugurated/instituted in August 2012.

  • a combined budget from DOST-ERDT (Eye-C program project) and MSU-IIT.

4. Microlab Chip Testing Room

  • use for chip testing and hardware activities.

  • houses the test equipment and electronics component supplies for chip testing, hardware and firmware design verification.

  • a combined budget from DOST-PCIEERD(µC-IC program project) and MSU-IIT.

  • kick off/installed in 2018.

5. Microlab Conference Room

  • use for meetings, research discussion and brainstorming, and presentation.

  • a combined budget from DOST-PCIEERD(µC-IC program project) and MSU-IIT.

  • kick off/installed in 2017.
